Trempealeau State Park is near the town and river of the same name. I went there to see the hillside of shooting stars. The flower-filled hill starts at the park road and continues up a steep slope to near the top of Brady's Bluff. A trail begins across from the parking lot at N44º 01.261', W091º 29.245'. There are many other flowers as well, like these trillium.
