The deck along the back of the large Many Glacier hotel overlooks Swiftcurrent Lake and is a fine vantage point for mountain and lake scenery. We boarded a tour boat at the hotel dock on Swiftcurrent Lake. It took us to the other end of the lake where we hiked over a hill to board another boat for a tour of the larger Lake Josephine. It is from Lake Josephine that we photographed the Grinnell glacier. Hardier souls can hike to the edge of the glacier. An "ABC" after the file number indicates a combination of three exposures for and HDR (High Dynamic Range) image.
